How fittings work
Every fitting at Bridal Prom Pageant follows the same calm, considered rhythm. No rushed pinning, no surprise charges — just a master fitter who has seen this exact dress before.
We inspect the garment, ask about your event, and walk you through what each change will cost — before any work begins.
You try the gown on with your shoes and undergarments. We pin every change in place and confirm the plan with you.
The bigger changes are stitched. You try it on again to fine-tune comfort, movement, and hem length.
Last details, a final steam, and bustle instructions for your wedding party. You leave wearing the dress that was made for you.
Before & after
A selection of recent alterations from our fitting room. Every gown shown belongs to a real client — no stock photography, no AI renders.
Two-inch take-in through the side seams with re-set boning. Bride had lost weight after ordering — the silhouette is now smooth across the back with no pulling at the zipper.
Two-point under-bustle with hidden ribbon loops. Holds through the reception without breaking the gown's silhouette or showing hardware. Bride and her maid of honor trained on it at the final fitting.
Four inches removed from a fully lined lace gown, with the original scalloped lace edge re-attached by hand. Most shops would have lost the scallop — preserving it is what separates a finished gown from a cut one.
