How fittings work
Every fitting at Bridal Prom Pageant follows the same calm, considered rhythm. No rushed pinning, no surprise charges — just a master fitter who has seen this exact dress before.
We inspect the garment, ask about your event, and walk you through what each change will cost — before any work begins.
You try the gown on with your shoes and undergarments. We pin every change in place and confirm the plan with you.
The bigger changes are stitched. You try it on again to fine-tune comfort, movement, and hem length.
Last details, a final steam, and bustle instructions for your wedding party. You leave wearing the dress that was made for you.
Before & after
A selection of recent alterations from our fitting room. Every gown shown belongs to a real client — no stock photography, no AI renders.

The bridal gown was clearly way too small, so we removed the original back zipper and inserted full-length matching fabric panels along the back. These panels were adorned with similar bugle beads to blend with the dress. A longer zipper was then added for a proper, comfortable fit.

Along with adding the panels in the back, we also added straps to help with the support. Now the front of the dress looks and fits well, very happy customer!

This Indian-style two piece dress was originally much too large for the petite young lady. We removed the sleeves to create a clean strapless top and took the skirt in approximately 10 inches to fit her small waist. The final result looks as if the dress was originally made this way, and she was absolutely thrilled with her perfect fit.

This Jovani beaded dress was altered to match the young lady’s dream vision for prom. We carefully redesigned the front, reinforcing the cutouts to prevent fraying. We removed the horsehair for better flow and reinforced the bodice for a secure, flattering fit. The final result was exactly what she wanted, and she was a very happy girl.
